On our way.....

That sounds like so much fun!!!:love::love::love:

I can't wait to hear ALL about it!!!! :cloud9::cloud9:

Thanks Kevin for correcting the info. I want the prayers for Webmaster Kathy's Mom to go to the right place.

Well ment Prayers never go to the wrong place! They all have the same final destination. It is sometimes difficult to keep all the players straight! Thanks.

Kevin, thank you so much for your "on the spot" reporting. I was following right along with you as the event was happening. I really appreciate your willingness to include all of us in your plans.

Kathy, thank you for the blog. It is so much fun to live vicariously throught the PODcast crew!

Hello all!

I am the guy who was adopted by the DISers.

While wandering the GMR courtyard I heard a voice that could not have been anyone besides Pete Werner. After mustering courage, I approached them and introduced myself. Not only did they shoot the breeze with me but invited me to join them for dinner. I was going to feast with the DIS crew!!

If anyone has ever wondered how different our podcasting friends are in person, let me tell you: not at all! I felt as though I were sitting at Pete's table recording a cast. In person, they are just as hilarious, just as friendly, just as Disney geeky. It was so much fun.

A couple of unexpected things:
I had no idea John loved to two-step. You should have seen him cutting a rug with a Swoozie Kurtz look alike. :dance3:
While wandering through the "Aliens" scene, I bet Kevin that he would not head butt the alien. Did he do it? Lets just say that security followed us the rest of the night.

Thanks for making me an instant friend!!

We had a good time...didnt we?:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2

Indeed sir.

Although, I should probably give the podcast a listen before continuing the high praise. I'm curious to see if you guys bust my chops for thinking the cactus chunks were bland apples.

There were chunks of cactus in the salad??????? If they were there they were totally tasteless.

After listening to the show yesterday, I realized I would have NEVER been able to walk through the GMR. I first saw Alien when I was about 16 (I'm in my 40s now) and I was scarred and scared for life. I would have never been able to walk calmly through that part of the attraction. I would have sprinted through that area like my hair was on fire.

:scared1:

So glad you all had a great time though! Sounded like a lot of fun, except for the appetizer station, which sounded dreadful.
