Heading down to the fort for arrival on Saturday.
Boondocked in Virginia. Heading back on road in a little bit.

Hurry, we're waiting. :) Weather is suppose to be beautiful ! :thumbsup2

Made it to Florida. We are going to spend the night in St. Augustine and head down to the fort in the morning. Just got my call from Tee Time. Golf cart drop off all set for tomorrow. Kids are excited, heck we're all excited. Time for some rest to energize the batteries for a great time at Fort Wilderness.

popcorn::

So how are things?

Some of us stuck at home are living vicariously thru your visit and updates.

Bama ed

Ps I have only rented a cart once but it was from Kenny at Tee Time. He was wonderful.

You must have made it by now, right? We're all getting spoiled by these live trip reports and need some pics and updates, stat! popcorn::

We were their last week, all was great. We got loop 700 and was close to the marina, bus & boats to the parks. Crowed but things move, lights on now at Hollywood. Enjoy one of the best campgrounds around.

We have been having technical difficulties with internnet access.
We checked in Saturday afternoon about 4:00 with no troubles and set up camp at site 224. Called tee time and our cart was delivered by 4:45. Made it over to the Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare for a buffet dinner with cinderella, prince charming, the step mother and step sisters. My daughter thought it was awesome. My son liked the food. I thought the food was good and it was fun watching my kids have a good time.we will be trying to get some pics up in a few days.

Sunday
went over to trails end and decided it is just not worth it anyymore. Thefood wasn't bad but the selection has decreased while the price hasn't. We took a tour of the fort and noticed vans being used instead of buses. We also noticed the new guidelines for carts and decorations. Nothing that shocked us, it's good to see the management reel it in.

We went over to epcot in the afternoon. Walked around future world and had an early dinner at the garden grill. It still is my wife's favorite and kids enjoyed the characters.
We returned to the campground and relaxed, spotted some deer along the canal behind our site and went down to the beach to watch the fireworks.

Monday
woke up early and toasted some bagels at the camper with our cereal. Took my daughter over to the stables to watch the horses get ready for the day. She was excited to see cinderella's horses getting cleaned up to go out today.

More to follow.......

I'm in. popcorn:: Agree about TE, just not worth it.

Too bad about TE. It's normally a tradition for us to eat the breakfast buffet before hitching up and pulling out.

Howdy Islands !!!
I hope that ya'll have as awesome Fort trip as we did during our stay.
We stopped by earlier today in hopes of meeting ya'll, but ya'll weren't home,,there will always be another trip :thumbsup2.

Where did I leave off? Monday I think....

Frank- sorry we missed meeting the you, hope you had a safe trip home.

Monday

After we strolled around the settlement and relaxed a bit, we headed over to hollywood studios andlet the kids show us around. It got a little warm in the afternoon and my son started to fade. We did our usual- the muppets, backstage tour , toy story mania and then we headed to prime time for a late dinner. We an 8 yernold year old says after dinner "can we leave"(a theme park) you know something is up. We checked out the Oswald Christmas Lights and haded back to the fort. While retrning we noticed our son seemed to have a fever so we we headed over to celebration hospital. They check my son out and ruled out pnuemonia and determined he was having an asthma symptoms because of a mild case of bronnchitis. That news put a little damper on our plansbut rest and relaxation are two important aspects of vacation.

Tuesday

My son needed some rest so my wife took our daughter to cinderella's royal breakfast. I hung out with my son and we looped while taking it easy. My wife retturned in the afternoon, I took my daughter to the pool. She enjoyed the slide and then we headed over to magic kingdom for the christmas party.
It was a late night but the kids had fun and we saw the seven dwarfs too.

More to follow...trying to figure how to load pictures through this phone.

took my daughter to the campfire and watched the beginning of the moviebefore going down to waterfronnt to watch wishes and electric light parade before turning in for the night.

Thursday

Relaxed in the morning and then took a ride to kissimmee for an airboat ride. Saw lots of wildlife including a couple of giant gators
we went over to epcot in evening and picked up some fast passes for soarin' then toured the countries until it was time go hanggliding.
watched illuminations after riding on soarin then raced our way out of the park with the other 50,000 guests.

Friday

Our last full day!

We had breakfast with pooh and friens at the crystal palace. We took a couple of rides in fantasy land and tommorrow land before returning to the campground for lunch and some pool time.
