In anyone's experience, how hard is it to book at the 7 month window to stay at OKW the last week of April into the first week of May??????? It hinges on where I stay. I'm already booked at my home resort anyway, but would like to switch.

The last week of April/first week of May is after Spring break and the Easter holidays. OKW is a large resort with many villas available, I think you will have no problem switching resorts at the 7 month mark. Good luck!

I agree, you will have no problem unless you are booking a Grand Villa.

That's good to hear. We definitely need a 2 BR dedicated though. It's a bunch of going together and we are limiting it to 6 people so no one has to sleep on the pullout. Thanks for the info. Now I can relax until October 3 !!! :thanks:

Why do you need "dedicated?" At OKW, all of the two bedrooms have two queen beds in the second bedroom.

Don't limit yourself further by requesting a dedicated 2 bedroom. As mentioned above, all 3 bedrooms at OKW have 2 queen beds in the second bedroom. The only difference is the extra closet in the dedicated where the exterior door would be in the lock-off.

I thought I needed a 'dedicated' because when I went into the DVC website and went into the setup of the rooms it clearly stated that some rooms have 1 queen and a pullout and some have 2 queens. I guess when I call, I'll find out!!! :confused3 Thanks for the help though....

We've gone for several years during early May (this past year it was late April/early May week) and we've never had a problem booking at 7 months. We've booked studios, 2 BRs, 1 BRs there. Once we got a studio there at about 6 weeks before our early May trip.

OKW has 2 queens in the second for all 2 BR units dedicated or not. For SSR & VWL, your assumption is correct that you need a dedicated to get the 2 queens. For BCV, only about a third of the dedicated units have 2 queens, the rest have a queen and pull out queen. Last I heard they were booking these units directly so you'd know up front what you should have.
