on/off ticket question

We are staying at the Contemporary and checking in on a Sunday (w/6 day park hopper tickets). Friends are meeting us on Tuesday, but are using hotel points to stay off WDW property. Since the real purpose of the trip is to spend time with them, we would check out of the Contemporary on Tuesday to go stay at their hotel for the remaining days.
My questions is, if we only stay at the Contemporary for 2 nights, will I be able to make FP+ at 60 days for all 6 days of tickets we have even though we would check out on Tuesday?

You will be able to make it from your check in to check out day. Some have said the 60 days will "roll" meaning on 60 days from the day after your check out day you'll suddenly be able to also book later since you have multi-day tickets that are longer thne your stay but I am not 100% sure on that.
