What exactly does the party involve?
Are the rides open?
Does most of hte children dress up?
What about the parents?
Do you take your own trick-or-treat bag?

As you can tell, we will be at WDW and our first Sunday night is a date scheduled for
one of the nights for the party...My girls are 6 and 5, and I wanted to get a little better idea before I bought hte tickets. I just hate to spend the $100 on tickets and all you do is walk around and get candy......

TIA for any help on the matter!!!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is so much fun!

It's the only time you can see the special "Boo to you Halloween Party". Don't miss the Headless Horseman who starts the parade! It runs twice and I usually catch the second one.

They decorate the place amazingly!

The witch flys down before the fireworks instead of Tickerbell. The fireworks are extra special!

There are trick or treat stands everywhere and it's good quality candy and plenty of it! They provide the trick or treat bags but you can certainly bring your own.

There are free photo stands all over too and it's a great photo op.

Haunted Mansion is extra creepy!

Of course, you can also go on the rides.

Here's some more stuff going on (subject to change, of course):

Halloween Storytelling:
Listen as storytellers share the spooky, and the not-so-spooky legends of Halloween. Look for icons throughout the park for both scary and not-so-scary stories.

Cinderella's Surprise Celebration
On the Castle Forecourt Stage
7:30, 9:25 & 11:00 PM

Diamond Horseshoe Saloon Halloween Revue
7:30, 8:30, 9:20, 10:15 & 11:05 PM

Halloween Riverboat Ride
Strolling musicians, characters and Halloween treats.
7:15, 8:15, 9:25 & 11:30 PM

Enjoy!
