? on new bus on demand OKW

A couple of days ago someone made a comment about the new bus on demand schedule works better than the previous bus transportation @ OKW. OKW is my home resort and was curious what the new system is. We seldom used the buses because of the poor service, mostly drove over to the parks except for MK.

Currently, Disney is only using the "on demand" system in the mornings. At OKW there is a CM at the Hospitality House bus stop with a computer, entering destinations into the system.

At other times of the day, there are transportation CM's at the parks who monitor the queues and expedite the system.

I'd still advise asking the bus drivers for an approximate schedule for each park. It helps to plan your exit from a park if you know about when a bus may arrive. The drivers are a great source of information!

On our trip last month, we never waited more than 15 minutes for a bus to/from OKW. (I always mentally plan for a 20 minute wait- so we were very pleased!)

I'm still a little confused. Does that mean that you have to go to HH to catch the bus, or do you call up to HH and tell them where you are going and what bus stop you will be at? Thanks for all the info!

The HH bus stop is the last of the five stops at OKW. They apparently are using the guests waiting there as an indicator of what buses are needed for the resort and it does seem ot be working well. You do NOT have to board the bus at HH or call ahead. They are basing the demand on the number of people waiting at any given time.

The "on demand" CM leaves by 11am and the buses run their normal schedules and routes after that.
