gaze down Main Street on my favourite castle  even though I'm afraid it may have hoardings up :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: then head over to see what the wait time is for Big Thunder Mountain.

Do you have any plans for your next trip or traditions that you always keep to?

Think I may have to join you in a spot of castle gazing! I felt that last time as we went in via Salon Mickey (and as the snow was falling hard!) I lost the impact of walking in straight down the middle. I'm hoping to be in for EMH as we'll have been at Magic Circus the night before, so first ride has to be Buzz, then maybe Peter Pan or Teacups, then Pirates and/or BTM at rope drop...............

I have promised DH that I'll drop the commando approach as we will be there 5 full days and the weather will hopefully be warm, so we can slow down and enjoy the scenery, but there's so much I want to do, I think it may take a few days for me to relax :rotfl:

On our last trips we have always gone on Peter Pan first so that was always our tradition. This time when we go Peter Pan will be closed :sad1:

As we are there for EMH it will be one of the Fantasyland rides first but before that I will gaze longingly at the castle too and think AHHHHHHH I am finally here again :lovestruc

Admire my Son's face!!! It will be his first visit and I can't wait, he will be amazed!

I'm getting really excited :goodvibes

Best thing is, I haven't talked to him much about it what with Christmas and he has just began full time school so I am going to keep quiet as much as I can then get him excited a few days before :lovestruc

We love to stop at the garden in front of the Disneyland Hotel for a photo and build up the excitement before making for the turnstiles - the girls are always chomping at the bit - we stop halfway down main street for another 'traditional' photo by which time the girls are usually dragging us to the castle - I love that first walk through! What I really love is the first Phantom Manor ride! I also love the first nights meal with everybody talking about the first days firsts and the plans for tomorrow! Can't wait for February!

omy my next trip to DLRP.... if we head in the disneyland park first im going to just take it in, while everyone desides where they are heading....

if we head to the studios first... im heading straight for the tower of terror for a good old fix of adreneline... then probably gonna do it all over again XD

For me the first thing is obviously to be in awe of Le Chateau De La Belle Au Bois Dormant... but afterwards it is tradition for me to head directly to Adventureland without pausing and ride Pirates of the Caribbean pirate:

Once I've had my first ride on POTC, that's when I know I'm officially in DLP :cool1:

First thing for me is a trip to Salon Mickey (if we get there in time) for a moment of quiet excitement :cloud9: before stepping out into the music of Town Square and the jumping up and down excitement kicks in!!! :yay:

First up after that? Probably IASW or a meet & greet to get the first entry in the autograph book! :goodvibes

i always take a pic of the hippo in her tutu from fantasia before going thru the turnstiles and admiring the castle..... my first thought is always it looks soooo far away!!! we then ride the carousel..... but not this trip yaaaay!! its just grown ups on the next trip so we can bypass the less appealing younger rides.... cant miss iasw though :goodvibes

....get a photo of my kids faces when they see the castle for the first time :cloud9:

Have been planning this trip since they were born!!!!! Can't wait :banana:
