Ok, so I'm trying to learn as much as I can about on-line reservations before ADR armageddon on the 27th. I've been successful finding the on-line site, and I see where you can make the ADRs. My question is about how to get the site to recognize that you have a Disney resort reservation and allow you to book 180+10. I've logged into my Disney Vacation, and attempted to retrieve my reservation, but I am getting an error saying that they are not able to display my reservation at this time. Am I doing something wrong? Is this the way I should be going about getting the Disney site to recognize my reservation so I can make my ADRs? Any help would be appreciated! :goodvibes

join the club! You are in good company!

IF you can get the system to recognize your resort confirmation number - then online early (as early as 3am EST!) is the way to go! but like you, I kept getting the error code -

I tried foxfire, IE, and Safari Browsers on a Mac, and then on the PC - I was successful on Foxfire on the PC - but it wouldnt open up the +10 feature!

I would suggest testing the system, then test the calling system - if you have to call in you will want to be as speedy as possible - thousands will be calling at the same time - so I watched the clock on the computer when it hit 6:59:45 I started dialing - I got in - but the Push 1, push 2 push 1 had changed since the last time I went this route trying to get the CRT resservation!! Now it was a voice system!! (say ...)

I've honestly never been able to get the "My Disney Vacation" page to recognize my resort reservation. Try it this way. Go to the Disney dining site here: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/. Choose a restaurant and click on "book a reservation." Once on that page, you can log in (by clicking on the words "log in" under Log In or Register). Once that's done, you'll come back to the same restaurant page. Click on "retrieve your reservation" (under Resort Guests and Dining Plan). If the system is working - which is an iffy proposition these days - it will come back and ask you for your resort reservation number, last name, date of arrival and resort name. Again, if things are working and you don't get an error message, the page will then say that you have a reservation at whatever resort for whichever dates. If all this has been successful thus far, then go to the calendar and move it to the date of your arrival. Before the 180 mark (or 90 day mark, until October 27), dates that aren't available because they're too far away are grayed out. When you're at your 180 day mark, the next ten days should be shown in blue, which will indicate that they're available to make ADRs.

As Sandy321 said, it's useful to play with the site so you know what to expect. If the system is working, you can go to any restaurant page and try to retrieve your resort reservation. Even if you're outside the 180 days, the system will (or should, again assuming no error messages) still bring up your resort reservation, and you can reassure yourself that it's there. Then you can experiment with the system by choosing a date within the next 90 days (since those dates are available to anyone right now), and put in some dates and times and see what it gives you.
