On-line reservation

I was frustrated because member services is closed, so I tried the on-line reservation system. The only reason I took the plunge was because the website stated that the reservation would be immediately confirmed if available. This is the confirming e-mail I received:

Thank you for submitting your e-mail request.

A Vacation Advisor will research your request and respond via return
e-mail within the next 2 days.

Thank you for contacting us,
Disney Vacation Club

What a mistake I made!! If I call members services tomorrow can they look up this request and help me?
 
I would call if your desired vacation time is within the next few weeks. Otherwise, I've found the email reservation system works pretty well. I would not use it for December reservations at popular resorts, but for most travel times it is OK.

But, you can certainly call tomorrow if you wish. Be sure to tell the CM you also sent a email request, so you don't wind up with duplicate reservations.
 
A word of caution. The on-line reservation system is actually a email system that sends your request to the Advisor's who work the request when they have time.

I had sent in two requests a day apart. I remarked on the requests where I wanted the points pulled from. wouldn't you know it, they worked request #2 first so the points were out of balance. Both requests failed and I had to start everything over.

If it's a simple booking and you have plenty of time, use the on-line system. If you have multiple contracts and/or you have special needs, give MS a call.
