We rented points for BWV and will be arriving in a few weeks. Just wondering as we're not the DVC owners, if we're eligible for on-line check-in?

You can use the online check-in feature up to 10 days prior to your arrival. :thumbsup2

another question tho - any advantage to checking in 10 days in advance, vs. say, the day before?

Nope. Disney is pitching on-line check-in as a way to reduce the amount of time it takes you to get your room keys when you arrive at the resort. When you arrive at the resort, there is a special desk for those that did on-line check-in. There they will have a packet that contains your room keys, dining plan information (if on one of the plans) and the rest of the information they normally give you at check-in.

Ditto! Our longest waits have been when we used online check-in. Plus our room wasn't ready. When we used regular check-in this past Christmas the line was short and the room was ready. This was at OKW. Can't say how it would be at BWV. We have noticed that the more people use online check-in the shorter the regular check-in line is becoming. :dance3:
