On line check in with Alamo?

Can you tell me if I do the on-line chek in before we leave, do we skip all lines and go to the garage or do we still have to use the kiosk?

If you check in online and prepay, you can walk right on by everything. It's how we always do it.

Ok so when doing on line check in if you pay right then you dont have to go threw the litte booth with your paperwork? I do online checkin but never prepaid ,we just go to the garage, get our car, go thru the booth and done.

You don't have to prepay, you just give them your credit card info. It's not charged until you bring the car back. You print off your online check-in paperwork at home and at the exit booth just pass in the paperwork, credit card, drivers license and tag that's hanging in the car. But remember you can't use a coupon with online check-in.

Oh ok so you dont prepay....I have done the online in Feb and July and I didnt remember seeing anywhere to prepay. I love the online checkin so easy, just as you described Sympatico. Thanks!

Just remember that you are not able to use online check in if you are using a coupon. You will still have to use the counter or kiosk if you are using the coupon. I have used online check-in when using a discount code without a coupon, though.

How do you use the kiosk with a coupon? Still add all your info on-line and then just run the info through the Kiosk? Like give all personal info like namem address, license into and credit card info and then what?

If you have a coupon, use the "Save Time" feature on the website. Then once at airport, go to kiosk. If you used e-coupon it's already included so you don't need to do anything, if you have physical coupon you give it to the person at the exit gate when leaving airport. The kiosk is very quick and easy to use, less than 5 minutes. You verify your info, and scan your credit card. Then give the printed contract, along with DL & CC to gate person.

For some reason it wouldn't let me do online checkin for my reservation in September, but I could do "Save time". The kiosk had no line up and took about 1-2 min so was no big deal either. At tampa there was also a big play area for the kids, and they went down the slide once and it was time to go! LOL
