On line check in--when to do it?

Since the actual rooms are not assigned to a few days before check in. is there any advantage on doing the check in as soon as it comes available. Planning on putting the request about a week before check in

I don't think it really makes a huge difference if you check-in early. But it also doesn't hurt. I just do FP and online check-in at the same time. So after the 60 day mark I have nothing left to do.

I do the online check in at 60 days. Not sure if it makes a difference but we like to request a king bed and a location close to our car since we drive

Why? Why wouldn't you just get it done as soon as you're able to do it?

I do it at 60 days, although I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not. We like to request certain areas of the resort and close to transportation and usually we get those requests

We always had crappy rooms whenever we did online check-in; felt like we were being punished for making things easier. Now we interact with the cast member, have a room in a better location and don't have to wait for the room to be ready when we check-in early.
