We are staying two nights at POFQ after we get off the Dream in late January. The plan is to go from Dream to POFQ, check in, drop off our luggage with luggage folks and head over to EPCOT for the rest of the day. I am not expecting my room to be ready at 9:30 am or whatever time we arrive there...

I am wondering if doing on-line check-in would be good for my situation...

The advice I usually give is if you have any room requests that will make or break your vacation, then check in at the front desk so you can work with the CM to find the best room from the available inventory.

If you have a very short stay, you may not be as concerned with a specific building or floor or location. That would make you a good candidate for online check in.

I have used onine check in for every stay but one since they started offering it (they wouldn't let us use it on opening day at BLT) and I have been pleased with the procedure. I have checked in as early as 10am and as late as 5pm, and my room has always been ready (I don't travel during peak seasons though). I have had good views and convenient locations. If I did make a request such as top floor or ground floor, it was met. I also like the fact that I put in my cc number when I do online check in, and no one has to handle or swipe my card at check in. The fewer people that handle my cc the better :thumbsup2!

Thanks. With such a short stay, I don't think the room will really break it. We have a River View room reserved and it's only two nights. Guessing I won't even get to the room until later the first night (unless it's magically ready when we check in that morning!) so we won't be spending a lot of time in the room at all!
