On-line check-in for DHHIR

Is there any need to do on-line check-in for Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort? Or is that only for WDW & DL stays?

We always do online check in at dhhir.
When we arrive, we notice our info is in a folder with our name on it for online check in.

I do it to increase the chance of our MagicBands working at the resort.

I never do online check in at DHHIR. Interacting with the CMs at the front desk is part of the wonderful experience. I did on-line check in once, don't now why, but I felt like I missed out a little.

I do online check in but I always have to go to the desk to get key cards at Hilton Head. Online check in allows me to get a text letting me know if my room is ready.
