On Free Dining...possible to switch hotels now?

I just added a day to my free dining package a couple of days ago, 2 weeks from my trip, no problem. I'm staying at CSR.

dandave- I would call and speak to a supervisor. Hopefully you'll get your preferred room back. Here's some pixie dust!

I was told I was getting a refund because I was "changing Seasons". In my excitement, it didn't click for me that I had been and still am booked during Value Season. What they did was kick me out of my Preferred room and put me in a Standard room, I now see when I look at my reservation online. And I specifically asked if I was still in a Preferred room, too!
I just wanted to clear that up in case anyone else mysteriously "changes seasons".

That's funny. They took away your preferred room and were going to charge you $50 to do it. You can't be too careful.

I switched my ressies around because of the pool closure and got a refund that I wasn't expecting. I poured over my info, I have a split stay, and lo and behold I realized that they checked me out on one day and checked back in on the next, leaving me nowhere to sleep the night in between ressies. Guess we would have had to sleep on a lounge chair at the pool. Also, I was told that they would just transfer my funds from one ressie to another and lo and behold I get a credit on my credit card. Thank goodness I checked. They refunded me the overage from one part of my stay and didn't pay the other. If I didnt check I might have been on that lounge chair for more than one night.
