at the pinocchio and we couldnt have been happier caught the tram right away. and same as we were leaving.. still didnt get my turkey drum stick.. next time i would have liked to stayed closer then at san clemente it was my in laws who gave us there time share points.. we had a relaxing vacation..

That is where we always park too. Even in the summer, if we arrive first thing in the morning. And we never had to wait long for a tram either. Don't know if all that will change by next summer with all the changes going on but we've never had a problem parking there. Pinocchio is easy to get in and out of. :thumbsup2

Glad you had a good time! :)

We have parked there a couple times. It's the best parking lot IMO. Very easy no driving around in circles lol happy it was easy for you too :goodvibes

Is Pinocchio parking a "choice" or just timing? Is it a section in that big multi-leveled parking structure?

We like parking there too, but I'm pretty sure it's based on timing. We always get to park there when we arrive before DL park opening. After that, we are usually sent into the M&F structure. It might also be that once it fills up, they send you to the structure, and this just happens to usually coincide with park opening. Either way, you should get there early if you want to park there. Pinocchio lot is also used for oversized parking (RVs, buses).

There is an alternate entrance into Pinocchio (off Magic Way), but I don't know the "rules" about entering the lot this way. Perhaps other know?

How much is parking for the parks? Where exactly is this Pinocchio parking lot and how do you get to it? How early is the tram running, if you get to the park 1/2 hour before opening are you able to get on it right away?

That's right Mickey & Friends is the big multi-leveled structure.

Does anyone know how to get to the Pinocchio lot?

The daily parking fees are as follows:
$14.00 for Cars and motorcycles
$20.00 for Oversized vehicles, motor homes and tractors without trailers
$25.00 for Buses and tractors with extended trailers

Pinocchio lot is entered through the M&F structure. After you pass through the booths where you pay, you turn left to head back out to Pinnochio lot. Otherwise, you are directed to the right to head up to one of the M&F levels in the structure.

As I said earlier, there is an alternate entrance to Pinocchio off Magic Way, but we've never tried this and I don't know if this entrance is open to guests or not. Other DISers would have to chime in on this.

Pinocchio is only open first thing in the morning. You can enter through the parking garage at that time but be directed through to Pinocchio. Last summer this is what we did:

We stayed at Embassy Suites South on Harbor. Turn right on Harbor, right on Chapman, right on West. West turns into Disneyland Dr. First thing in the moring, the Pinocchio entrance was open. So just turn left on Magic Way and go in to park.

If that Pinocchio lot is open, there will be an arrow on the sign on Disneyland Drive pointing that way (left) for parking. If that entrance is not open, the arrow on the sign will only point straight ahead and then you have to make a u turn to enter the parking garage.

When we left Pinocchio lot we turned left on Magic way, right on Disneyland Dr. Left on Orangewood, right on Harbor, then right into the hotel.

Now with all the construction going on and changes to parking I don't know if that still works. I would think so but not sure. When we came once in the afternoon we had to go through the parking garage because that entrance is closed.

Thank you so much for such detailed directions! :thumbsup2
