? on Disney VISA and DU

Hi!
I have a few questions about the Disney VISA. I have some reward dollars accumulated.
1) How long does it take from the time I request the card, to when the card actually arrives?
2) Do I have to put all the points on the card, or can I just do some? I want to save some for the cruise (excursions, etc.).
3) How long are the points good for once they are on the card?
4) Can I use the card to pay for part of the cruise if I booked through DU?
5) Anything else I need to know?

I know some of this info. is on the website, but I feel more comfortable hearing from those who have actually used their reward dollars like I hope to use mine.

Since I don't have a Disney Visa the only thing I can answer for sure is this one

Yes, you can. It is used just like a Visa card and since all payments with DU are made directly to DCL you can use your card.

It took me about 10 days to get my card once I requested it. You do not have to put all the points on it at one time--there is a minimum amount thatmust be transfered when you request a transfer--I think maybe $25?. Some of my points have an expiration date--I think the bonus ones where I got 3X the points for buying something at the Disney Store, but the expiration date is something like 2007.

Hello I ordered my card with 170 points on it and left the remainder in my bank you can take out as many as you want it took about a week for it to arrive. I am not sure about using the points to pay for your cruise I am going to use mine for tickets. The web site for the disney credit card has all the information you are asking about, very informative.
