? on checking in with AP's

Can anyone give me information on the check in procedure with an AP. Here's my situation:

We are going in Nov. & renting DVC pts. from Sat. to Sat., however, we get there Fri. evening (flight lands around 8 p.m.) We WILL be getting another AP for our trip, however, have not purchased it yet.

I just called CRO & got an AP rate for BC on the Fri. we arrive. However, now I am worried that I won't have the actual AP in my hand. I know I can get a voucher or something from the Disney store, but is this good enough to use at check in?

Also, how does the voucher thing work from the Disney Store? Last rime we got AP's we just went to TTC the day we arrived, which is what we were planning on doing either Sat. or Sun after our arrival.

I'm confused - HELP!

Most people say the voucher is good enough to check in. They may want you to show the actual AP after you get it activated.

You can always buy an activated AP at the airport.

Can you use your DC card at the airport for the discount on the AP? Can I buy my park hoppers at the airport too? It sure would make life easier! Thanks! Threehearts

When I stayed at BC I was never asked for an AP. Had I been asked I would have asked if I could have shown it later, if not I would have left my luggage, walked over the International Gateway and bought it before I checked in. I purchased an AP the evening I checked in but was never asked to show it. That said, many people find it easier to buy the pass in advance.

Before going, I was told by several CMs that the voucher would be good enough for check in. We arrived with just the voucher in hand and they never asked to see thte annual pass so we activated it later that day.
