On check-out day, can we........?

Hi ~
Had a question. Our last night at OKW is Aug 12. Saw that there is a EMH this night. Are we still allowed to use the resort amenities this last day and can we take advantage of EMH ? We've never encountered a situation where we'd want to leave so late on our check-out day but our plans are to stay with my aunt for a couple nights and she only lives 90 min away from WDW. So, we figured we'd milk our wdw vacation for all we could and do the EMH on the 12th but I was unsure about transportation and if we were even allowed to do it ? Anyone ever take advantage of E-Night or EMH on check-out day ? Thanks

We were told that we can use all amentiies through the last day on the room key that you get at check in ,which shows the check out date, so you should be OK. have lots of fun.

Have to add....one other thing......how do we get back after EMH that night ? Can we leave our car parked at OKW all day and just take the bus back that night ? I'm assuming yes.....?

Since your parking pass has the day of check-out, I would say yes, and we have done this before. Usually, though, we drive to one of the parks and use that as our base.

Just a suggestion, why not take your car to the park and then when you are done with EMH you'll be ready to drive to auntie's? No getting on the OKW bus back to the resort.

Thanks Diane and Isutigger2. I had been wondering about parking the car at the park. We've never done E-Night or EMH before where we didn't use wdw transportation and I wasn't even sure you could drive yourself since EMH is strictly a wdw resort perk and figured everyone just used the busses/boats/monorails to get back to their resorts. But if I can use my car that would be more convenient to go on to my aunt's house.

You can definitely go to the EMH your last day and can either drive to the park (with free parking) or use the WDW transportation; although, as others have stated driving to the park would save you time when leaving.

On a recent stay at OKW where our flight left in the early evening of our checkout day, we had a wonderful day in the parks and the Boardwalk and Downtown Disney areas after we checked out of OKW. THEN we headed back to OKW for a swim and a poolside drink. After the swim, we showered at the wonderful locker room beside the main pool where they even had hair driers, and then dressed for our return flight. It was nice to feel fresh and clean at the end of a long hot day! As an added bonus, when we asked the front desk to call a cab for us, they just invited us to hop in an OKW mini van and THEY took us to the airport. No charge either, but of course we gave the driver a very generous tip!
So keep in mind the nice changing facilities at OKW should you be a little ragged at the end of the day and pack accordingly!

This is true ccw. The shower/locker room is very nice. Sounds like a plan !

How cool is it that OKW drove you to the airport. What wonderful DVC service !
