I can't remember. Was there a number to call to find out what movies will be playing in the Buena Vista Theater on the Disney Wonder November 14, 2016. Also, the movies on the stateroom television.

Thanks!

888-325-2500, choose the reservations option, then ask what movies will be showing the week you cruise. (The number is listed on the FAQ section of the DIS cruise line forum.)

Well, I called Disney Reservations, and she said that they don't know what movies are playing, but these are the possibilities because they are the newest in order from newer to older.
Dr. Strange
Queen Katwe
Light Between Oceans
Pete's Dragon
BFG
Finding Dory
Captain America Civil War
Jungle Book
Zootopia
Starwars (Last year's Star Wars)

Apparently, they have no way of knowing which will actually be played.

I thought in the past they've always been able to say those in the Buena Vista theater but not those in the stateroom. Must be a new thing.

As with many things when calling DCL, it might be worth your time to call again and talk to someone else. They definitely used to be able to tell you (like a couple months ago). It is possible things have changed, but it is also possible (probable?) that that particular person didn't know how to check. I have had several experiences where I got two different answers when calling DCL about a question.

Rule of thumb is - if you call and talk to 3 different CMs on the phone with the same question, chances are you'll get 4 different answers.

I called last week to ask about the Nov 18 sailing of the Dream and was told:

Captain America: Civil War
Finding Dory
BFG
Pete's Dragon
Light Between Oceans
Queen of Katwe
Dr. Strange

Naturally, she added the disclaimer that the titles are subject to change and that there will also be more "older" movies as well.

Well, that's almost the same list. So, I guess we know what might be playing. Weird that they don't know exactly what they are playing.

Just back yesterday on the Wonder from Galveston to Cozumel. The movies in the theater were,
Finding Dory
Dr. Strange
Captain America Civil War
Queen of Katwe
Jungle Book
Pete's dragon
The Light Between Oceans
The BFG

Stateroom TV

Star Trek Beyond
Ghost Busters
ELF
Disney Classics
Pirates of the Caribbean
Avengers Age of Ultron
There was more, but that's all I remember.

Just returned yesterday on the Disney Magic. Movies shown in the theater were:
Finding Dory
Dr. Strange
The Queen of Katwe
Pete's Dragon
The BFG
Alice Through the Looking Glass
Captain America: Civil War
Moana (premiered)

Has anyone called recently? I'm wondering if they will be showing Moana on the 12/9 sailing on the Dream.

Was Moana shown during the evening one night in place of the normal stage show?

Back from the Dream yesterday. Moana was playing numerous times and even two showings in the Walt Disney theater as well. Finding Dory and Doctor Strange are the other two playing. There was one showing of Pete's Dragon.

I was on the Wonder when Moana was released, and they had the first showing at 10:30pm the evening before the official premier date(they made a big deal of this) in both the Disney theatre and BuenaVista. It did not replace any stage shows, but Dr Strange was shown as an evening stage event a couple days earlier in the cruise.
