On board booking discount

Has anyone ever took a 3 or 4 night cruise just so you could get the 10 percent discount and the $200 credit on the 7 night cruise? The 7 night we are looking at would be about $2600 for the 4 of us (in hurricane season) for just the cruise. I just wondered if it would be worth it to take a 4 night first and then save about $460 after the discount and credit?

I'm not doing the 4 days just for the discount but it is one of the reasons I am going... On our last 7 night (Feb 05), we booked with Allseas and they offered an ADDITIONAL $200 onboard credit (total onboard credit of $400 plus the 10% off) and now I'm trying to figure out if that is just something Allseas offers or if it is something other TAs do as well...

...and when you rebook on board how much exactly do they charge your credit card (2 adults/2kids).....anyone know (for 7 night)? CAn you please also confirm that you will automatically get a 10% discount and a $200 onboard credit? Thanks

Hi, to rebook onboard for 7nights, it is 250$ deposit per person, and Yes you get a 10% discount, and 200 shipboard credit per cabin...Just know your prices before you go, I find their price onboard (even with discount) can be found cheaper elsewhere. Also, keep in mind, you may transfer this ressie after returning home to another TA for perhaps further discount, without losing the stateroom credit...
