How interesting to see the different "laundry styles" I would not have imagined the diversity in how we all do the same thing.
I am shocked at how much laundry others have.
We are a family of 4 with 3 dogs and 4 cats. In addition we usually have at any given time one or two dogs that we foster.
Count us in with the we we hang up towels to dry and use more than once, we rewear jeans if not dirty. P.J's and sweatshirts worn over other shirts are also worn at least two times. They wear a school uniform and we do not get home until 5pm and do not go anywere afterwards, so I do not allow them to change into "street clothes" just to sit around the house for a few hours then get into PJ's . However they are in elementary school, might be unrealistic to keep up this rule when they get older, but then again, they will be old enough to do their own laundry then,
Our laundry varies, usually 6 or so loads on the weekend for general laundry and a load or two during the week for towels and something dirty that someone needs.
One child still is trying to master making it through the night (drat those deep sleeper boys) and we have given up on pullups (usually leak anyhow) so we have a load or two each week extra for the sheets and bedding.
Depending on the animals needs and the time of year we will have on average a load a week with various animal blankets.
I have a girlfriend who does twice the laundry we do, but she lets the kids change clothes several times a day and into the hamper the "slightly worn" clothes go.....no wonder she cant catch up.

My front loaders run pretty much every day from 8 to 8 six days a week, course when there is fifteen in the house, I guess that's not surprising.
