On A Split Stay, Does Room Requests Matter On Check In Time?

3 Wilderness Lodge

We checkout of the first, go to a park, then check in later in the day or evening at the second.
Does checking in later reduce the chance of getting a room that I've requested?

Probably going to try the Touring Plans subscribers room request.

Rooms are assigned 2-3 days out so no, it does not matter.

No, but it might reduce your chances of being able to get a different room if you don't like the one that was originally assigned.

I've used Touring Plans since 2008 and just want to tell you to make sure you put everything in the request including alternate rooms and the specifics as to why you are requesting that room.
