I'm one of the people who always feel like the CMs at Disneyland just don't measure up to the ones at WDW in the Department of Go the Extra Mile.
Mea Culpa.
My daughter was one of the kids chosen to participate in Drawn to Animation. She was given a poster of Mickey at the end of the show by the CM that had picked her to say "You ain't never had a friend like me" during the show. Anyway, she held on to that poster all day, ride after ride. When we were on the tram going back to the car lot, she snoozed in my arms. The rolled up poster fell out of her hand bounced off my leg and dropped onto the tramway road. She started to cry. When we got to the car lot we got off and asked the CM at the end of the tram if there was any way to recover the poster from the road. She radioed another driver who said he had seen it. When her tram went around again, this CM picked up the poster and delivered it back to us. It took about 20 minutes because all of this was happening in the crush at the end of the day but we got it back thanks to a kind CM!
So thanks to the girl with long brown hair from Fountain Valley at the back of the tram who retrieved my daughter's poster! If you see her on your tram, please tell her Thanks Again!
