dh was promoted so that is why we're moving. I need to figure out whether we are going to move into corporate housing or go right into a rental there are pros and cons for each and Im going a little crazy trying to figure it all out!

I only moved 2.5 hours away and it was stressful. Luckily I was TDY here for a few weeks first so I was able to scope out neighborhoods and stuff.

Ahhh brings back memories. I visited FL one year and within 3 days I had a job and had 3 weeks to move my entire life over 1,000 miles away.

It's stressful, but it will work out.

I nearly moved to Denver once. I love love love that city.

We are moving from Boise, Idaho so about 600 miles I think.


Its been in the works all year but with the house on the market so long we have lost the motivation to get things ready. Besides, you cant really cut down on things when you dont know when you will be leaving. Imagine if I had gotten rid of cleaning supplies and such in January?

Yes we bought one in the Littleton area. Sorry I can't help you as far as a rental company - maybe someone local can chime in and be of help for you. Good luck! We should try to meet up sometime, so atleast, we have each other as a friend (a DIS one at that )
