The whole thing makes no sense if you ask me. Still having rare items is cool, but that is accomplished through items you can only get in park, quests, the pins, etc... Not everyone can, or does go to a Disney park on a regular basis. Having in game items be rare just because they are expensive is silly. It will more likely keep people from playing and encourage jealous people to try to scam more than anything else.

They just don't get it though. They're also missing the boat on getting help from the younger players who don't have the patience for the credit system in VMK, but who COULD be a great ally for Disney in getting families to the parks! Look what McDonalds has done for years! Kids can be a powerful influence in their parents spending. My kids however, grew tired of the endless waiting in lines, hard to play games, and constant technical problems. They are very quick to switch over to miniclip, Disney Connection, Barbie.com or
