Can you tell I am excited.........So I booked two nites at the Carribean Beach Resort, Any Comments please let me know I have never been there but know that everyone compares it to the Coronado bech resort which I really liked......So then I plan on Doing Animal Kingdom inthe Morning and Splitting it with maybe a couple of hours of the Magic Kingdom in the evening......What do you think.....Is there anything I should be doing???? Am I crazy to do this so spur of the moment usually I am on here for months planning every single detail down to what princess shirt I will be wearing......Oh WOW I am off to my favorite Place in the WHOLE WORLD!!!!! Come share in my crazy excitement.......I am starting off 34 with a great time......... princess:

Congrats and Happy Birthday!!!!

Some of the best times can be caught spur of the moment. Enjoy and "go with the flow", so to speak.

Don't know much about CBR but just wanted to say have a lovely time!!!!!!!!

:sunny: :sunny:

Have a wonderful time! CB is a very romantic resort and I'm sure you'll love it.

Make a few ADRs - I hear that restaurants are about the only lines there at this time of year!

Happy Birthday!

Sounds like a good plan to me. Two days will give you a good sampling of the CBR and the park splitting should make for a fun day. Take your meals as you can get them & have a flexible spirit for the trip.

I hope you have a fantastic birthday!

We were regulars at CS and did CBR last winter for a getaway, my wife and me. We loved it. Beach is great for sitting on to get away from the crowds at the main pool, theming is great. My wife liked it more than CS. Try to get in Jamaica 45, it's across the island from Old Port Royale and very convenient. That is one thing about that resort. You could get placed very far away from Old Port Royale, where the pool and food is. Happy Birthday!

Looks like you know the parks well, so there should be no problems having a great time. I 'spect I would consider making a couple of meal reservations tho. But that's just me; I like to be sure of getting into my favorites while in the park. If y'all are happy with counter service throughout, no problem.

Enjoy.

Just be sure to relax and not try to squeeze too much in two days. When we do a weekender we do one or two parks, some nice dining and some down time. Its how I recharge my batteries :thumbsup2

My family did a quick trip like that. We had a little more time to plan. But, we have a 3 day/2 night trip over the first weekend in November.

We discussed single park vs. park hopper tickets. Ultimately, since we definitely wanted to try Everest, we decided on the Park Hoppers. We are going to try AK early in the morning with EPCOT plus EMH on Fri, Nov 3. Then, EMH at MGM Sat morning with MK afternoon on Sat, Nov 4. Then, finish at EPCOT on Sun, Nov 5.

It will be fast, but fun and we will hit the major items we want to hit.

Tink215,
You'll have a great time! I agree with the others who've said not to run yourself too ragged though trying to do everything in a few days. Since you live in Pembroke Pines, (I used to live in Weston!), it'll only take you between three and four hours to drive to WDW. I'd also make a few meal reservations, but that's because I love the great places to eat there! Now that we're in Minneapolis, I book our trips to be at least a week long, since I can't do those great weekend trips anymore! Have a great time and happy birthday! :goodvibes

Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great trip :)

You'll have a great trip!

On Feb 26th, 2004 decided I wanted to see Wishes for my birthday ---which was Feb 27th!!!! Lived in Colorado and happened to see a great weekend fare, we had APs, got AP discount at Caribbean beach. Everything fell into place like magic.

Saw Wishes on my birthday with my DD at my side (boy was she shocked)!

We even went to MK the next morning as it was early entry. We walked by CRT and on impulse checked to see if they could fit us in and yes, got seated right away.

With 15 trips and #16 coming up, that 4 night trip was one of the best ever!

Happy Birthday.

Spur of the moment trips are the best. You will have to tell us all about it when you get back. I hope you have a magical trip!
