OMG we got the house!!!!

We got a townhouse!!!! It's not new (built in 1963) and it's not big and it's sure not fancy but it's ours!!!

I fell in love with it immediately. It has parquet floors throughout (which look nice but will be a pain to swiffer them daily) 1/2 bath downstairs, a large pantry/storage area (great spot for the cat box) and a sliding glass door in the living room going out to the patio thats HUGE! The patio is small but very private and fenced with plenty of room for a nice garden around the perimeter. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (master is HUGE) a laundry room and a full bath. At one point a previous owner knocked out the wall in the closet to create a long narrow storage area that will hold a ton.

I know it doesn't sound like much but I've never owned a home before. It's just Dh and I so we don't need a lot. I'm so ready to get out of this apartment. We move 4/15. Can't wait to decorate, garden and bbq (they are forbidden in our complex) and can't wait to post some pics here!

Awww that's so great! Congratulations and I'm sure you will love the house. We bought our 4th home last April and it was a newly built home (our first one) and I still felt that excitment when everything came together.
