OMG!!! We Finally Did It!!!

I have wanted to buy DVC for a LONG time but 1st I there was no financing in NY, then I couldn't really swing the payments, then DH insisted on buying at Vistana Villages...

Then, finally I got the postcard, $2,500 off the down payment, no payments due till June 1, 2005 for a March 1st 2005 use year. (Reservations can be made now though)

Well DH agreed and we got 250 points!!!! I can't believe it!!! MY dream has finally come true!!! I am so hapy I can't stand it!!!

I am soooooo jealous of you! I have been lurking on this board for a long time living vicariously through you all.

This trip in October I am really crossing my fingers and catching all of the pixie dust that comes our way. My parents have 2 Marriott's and are looking to buy another time share. Their intentions are to leave each one of us kids a unit when they pass (a long time from now). We are staying at Grande Vista (boo hoo we couldn't trade into DVC - no suprise thought). They are taking the tour of Grande Vista, but they have agreed to look at DVC also. I am hoping to convince they to buy into DVC. Then my brothers can have the other 2 Marriotts and we can have the DVC!

This is also their first trip to WDW so I am hoping for a little extra magic! Wish me luck

The post card was just explaining the deal. I believe anyone can get that pricing because SSR is sold out so they are pre selling the new area. Just call and they will explain all.

WOW! How cool is THAT? Welcome home! I can't believe you can take your 1st trip 3 months before you make your 1st payment! GREAT!

My wife and I also finally pulled the trigger and bought 170 points at SSR on Thurs. We took the extra points they are offering instead of the $10/point discount. We are going to use the developer points for a family trip at OKW during spring break (was supposed to confirm that yesterday, but.....) and will use our member points to celebrate our 20th anniversary in May.
