OMG... this is so not right (The Office related)!!!

*******spoiler alert***********************

ETA: Oh my God--Ryan got the job?! Whoa.

That was hilarious!!!

This was the best episode of the year!!!!!!!!!!

My DVR cut out before the final scene. How did they announce that Ryan got the job and what were the reactions, if you guys don't mind.

They didn't announce it. He was notified over the phone. Kelly was the only one around, and he didn't even tell her that he got the job (at least they didn't show him doing it), he just dumped her with no explanation and then the show was over.

Ok - DS started having a full out tantrum when Jan was getting the boot. Can someone give me a recap - what did she say to her boss? What did the note in Jim's case say? Did he leave Karen in NY?

Thanks!!

Yeah, they showed the guy who did the interviewing talking on the phone, saying something about how he was glad to get back with (whoever he was talking to on the phone--the viewer didn't know at that point) because they'd ended the interview on a bit of an uncertain note (which made me think it might've been Karen, since all the stuff w/ Jan went down during her interview), and how it'd be nice to have another MBA around the office. Then they cut to Ryan on the phone, saying, "Thank you," with Kelly in the background. After he hung up, Kelly said, "Who was that?" Ryan replied, "No one. ...We're through," (or something to that effect), and Kelly said, "WHAT?!" and that was it.

Oooooooh, I can't wait till next season!!! (or till this season comes out on DVD, for that matter!!)

IIRC, it was something like, "Later, a**hole!" (bleeped, of course) The note in Jim's briefcase was from Pam--it was one of the yogurt lid gold medals from the Olympics they held (season 2, I think) and and a note that said, "Don't forget us when you're famous!" He kept looking back at it during the interview, like almost being distracted by it (but in a good way!) As far as I could tell, he left Karen in NY--she'd left the office before Jim's interview to go meet friends for lunch, and there was a shot of Jim driving alone afterward, obviously thinking about everything. I think it was during a voiceover of Pam's, talking about how maybe she and Jim were just too similar to be together. At some point, there was also a scene from the beach episode that wasn't shown last week; it was after Pam gave her speech and was down by the water, soaking her feet. Jim came down to see how she was doing, and he said that the reason he'd gone to Stamford was so he would be "not here," and that he kind of felt like he'd never really come back. Pam said, "Well, I wish you would," and shortly thereafter was when he came into the "confessional room" in the office and interrupted Pam's telling the camera how she knew she'd find her match someday and asked her out! YAY!

Some of that sequence may be a tad out of order...I taped what of the episode I was able to see tonight, but the $^&&%$#%^&# DVD on which I recorded it is malfunctioning and won't let me watch it. GRRRRRR. Hopefully it'll be on iTunes shortly.

You pretty much got it right on the nose there! Good job!

I literally had tears in my eyes along with Pam there at the end!

THAT WAS THE MOST SATSIFYING SEASON FINALE EVER!

Jans new additions!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No new news on Jenna's injury...all the local news had to say was just that she broke her back in 4 places (good LORD--I can't even imagine!) and is expected to make a full recovery, thank goodness!

Best.Episode.Ever... Now let's just hope they don't jump the shark with Jim and Pam next season.

I agree great episode! I was :rotfl2: with Dwight and his Schrute bucks. And Stanley's "I'll give you 10,000 Stanley nickels if you never talk to me again" comeback was great!

Aww, it was so cute when the note had the gold yogurt wrapper on it! And im glad that he asked her to dinner. But, I can't believe some of the things that happened! One of the Best Episodes Ever!:cool1:  :cool1:  :cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2: :dance3:

I loved the looks on Michael's face when Jan first came in, before she took her coat off. He couldn't look her in the eye for more than a split second.

"Hunter, tell Jan I want to squeeze them. She'll know what I mean, that's code." I like how he's standing behind Jan & mentions to David that he didn't tell her that she's fired.

Who knew Jan was such a screw-up. And Michael selling his condo on e-bay for 80% of what he bought it for.:lmao: He'll try to back out of the sale, he'll just get some negative feedback.:rotfl:

Dwight: "What are the value of your Stanley nickels?"

Stanley: "The same as a unicorn to a leprechaun" Or something to that effect:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Stanley is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! I love his facial expressions.

OMG! This was one of the best episodes EVER!!!! We were laughing so hard most of the time, that I'm sure we missed things here and there!:lmao:

I always thought Jan had it all together, but I guess not! And Ryan getting the job; a complete shocker. I love the way Pam's self-confidence continues to grow.:) And Jim? Well, he's just the cutest thing ever! I love how he left Karen in NYC, and walked into the conference room to ask Pam out.:thumbsup2

Creed- "Swing low sweet chariot." :rotfl2:

I loved Jim's comments when Dwight was telling him about his ultimate fantasy!

D: "I'll have to check with the manager."
J: "So, in your fantasy, you're not the manager?"
D: "I'm the owner."

Loved when Michael told Pam that he needed his girls in the conference room right now! Then, after gaining courage from the "girls" he turned into a complete man when Jan took off her coat.

I didn't get to watch the show until 5:00 this morning because I was out to dinner last night. What a great way to wake up!

Now, I admit that I didn't have my glasses on, but I thought the note said "Your are already a winner" or "You will always be a winner".

OMG!!!! A show that is so great they can leave the season by revealing tons of stuff instead of leaving it all hanging for next year!!!! Loved this episode!!!!!

The ending was awesome - "the temp!" - who knew:confused3 !!!!!!!:rotfl:

Agh, I'm dying, our electricity was out last night and so of course no DVRed episode. I'm having to live vicariously through all of you.
