Well it seems like everyone is off the plane, that's great. The pilot is a hero.

yea i was doing hw and my friend was like omg turn on the news theres a plane in the hudson i was like what!!! i immediately thought of terrorists but no it seems like it was a flock of birds i feel bad for these people and espically bc it's freezing here in NY and it snowed all day!!!! i am just glad the plane didnt sink and the hudson is disgusting it probably smells bad there too just hope everyone makes it out alive

It's all over the NY news. Its seriously on every station.
What's scary is that it was leaving out of laguardia which is about 40 minutes away from me.... Right now im watching the news and the wing is sticking out and the back thing and the front too. They're saying that the pilot will be like a hero for landing in the water and nobody dying.

When i was in NYC, i went to my mom's friend's work building (conde nast building) and she works on like...the 30th floor. When i went to the cafeteria there (29th floor), you could see the Hudson river...so she's definatley seeing it because the news just said the crash is by 50th street.

Hopefully none of them will have hypothermia. I don't think any of them were in the water for prolonged periods of time, but the air is very cold.

It doesn't amaze me that it wasn't terrorism. It actually would amaze me more if it was. I'd be very disappointed in security if this was a terrorist incident.

My dad's in Florida right now on a business trip and he's flying home tomorrow
