OMG!! Remember the $5.00 JCrew Flip Flops?

I ordered 2 pairs of the JCrew flip flops when they had that mistake code for $5.00. I never received the "cancelled" email like many of your did, so I sat and was patient. I did call however and they said that my order was fine but that they wouldnt ship until April. I said that was fine.

Today I received an email saying that my order was shipped.
This is what it said:
Drink Flip Flops $5.00 cancelled
Drink Flip Flops $26.00 shipped
Flamino Flip Flops $5.00 cancelled
Flamino Flip Flops $26.00 shipped

$52.00 for 2 pairs of flip flops??? I don't think so!!
How can they change the price like that?
I'm so mad:mad:
 
I think you could put in a complaint with your credit card company, you did not agree to the price you were charged and have proof of what you agreed to via an e.mail I assume.
 

I had the same thing happen to me. I received the cancelled letter, but waited it out. A few days latter i received a email saying to pick another pair for the 5.25 so I did. I was told they would be 5.25 no tax no shipping. This past weekend my cc was charged 63.00 for 3 pairs of flip flops. I called jcrew and they apologized for their mistake and credited me card. So I would just call them I didn't have a problem but it does take a few days to credit your card.
 
Thanks Kim929. I did just that. They are refunding me the $41.50.
When I said I will refuse delivery, they sang a differnt song. Seems as if they hate refused delivery. They said they have a hard time getting the shipments back if it's refused and that they'd rather take the $10.50 for the 2 flip flops than nothing. I spoke to a nice guy in customer relations named Greg.
 
That sucks that you had that happen! Speaking as someone who worked for J Crew- the customer is always right, and they will normally do whatever they can to appease the customer. They are a great company. Everyone makes mistakes, I'm glad to hear they handled the situation others were in pretty well.
 
Well, if it makes you feel any better, they are not comfortable, Old Navy's are much more so and they are 2 for $5!
 
I got a catalog today and started wondering about my order (since they were supposed to ship in April, I thought.) I never got an email, so I pulled up my account and it shows "order cancelled". Should I call them and see about reinstating my order?
