OMG! Received a beneficiary letter!

I am so excited for you and your husband! I think we are all waiting to hear the outcome on this one. Keep us updated as to how you are making out with this.

WOW! What news. My MIL passed away 2 weeks ago, and she had two policies. DH and his siblings are each going to receive 21K. It is a great amount, but at the same time knowing that she had to pass to receive it makes it less exciting. My MIL was young only 57yrs old, and her death was TOTALLY unexpected.

Here's sending pixie dust and good vibes your way!:goodvibes pixiedust:

:cheer2:

I hope you get a nice amount. I'll be watching to see. Good luck. I know in this economy, it will come in handy.

Another good thing about life insurances is you don't have to pay taxes on them.

Really??? Wow, did not know that!:thumbsup2

I worked late tonight and rushed home to see if there was a post. I was about to pop some popcorn and read I was so excited. Who doesn't dream of this. Good luck I am sure it will help you out no matter the amount.

Still no information. But I keep on checking and asking questions. Another person told me as long as the paperwork was in order, it would be about 10 days. I wonder if "their in order and MY in order" are the same??? :confused3It was very simple (one page). DH and I are thinking it won't be all that much. It was 1951 when she took it out so it couldn't have been for too much. However, whatever it is will be great! Maybe it will be enough for a roof at least. Ugh, we do need to redo it. And of course, that would have preference over a vacation. (Maybe a down payment??? :thumbsup2 ). Still, we're excited to get it. Out of the clear blue....who knew? :yay:

I'm toooooo excited to sleep! Has it been 10 days yet?? popcorn::

Same here - you have all of us hanging in here - I am sure your dh deserves it. Waiting patiently with you.
