Bumping so I can find it later today! Hoping its bigger then a breadbox! 

When my husband's grandmother died, she left an insurance policy. Since his father predeceased her, DH and his sister were the beneficiaries. They split $500.00. It was a big policy when she got it, but it never increased. And he only found out about the money from one of those "found" money websites. He did the search himself for free and got the information from the state in which she died.
I hope you get what you need, but realize that policies from so long ago are often very little today.

You can also go to http://www.missingmoney.org/ to search 40 states at once.

Nuttin. Darn.I had to be 10 days already, hasn't it? I'll have to check when I sent the paperwork in. I wrote it down on my calendar at work. Just think, when we do finally get it and tell you guys, you'll have nothing to look forward to!
