OMG! No VWL or BCV!!

Please tell me they are going to love staying there. I'm on the waitlist for BCV. Do many people have good luck with that?

BWVs are wonderful! We are staying there the first week of June. We own at BCVs and we love it there too, but the kids just love the entertainers that are out on the Boardwalk at night. The pool is cute too.

I think your kids will enjoy it and it is fun to try out new resorts.

It is also not a bad walk to MGM from Boardwalk on the villas side. We usually walk instead of waiting for the boats when we stay there.

So did the kids find anything that interested them? I bet they will love BWV's too. Have a great trip regardless of where you end up staying.

By the way are they going to be able to fix the damage to the USS Alabama. Hearing about the damage to it really bothered me. On our last driving trip throught he area we stopped by but a terrible storm came up and we had to cut our visit short. My son wanted to go back but we never drove through the area again. Sure hope we will be able to visit it in the future.

She said she usually books earlier; but she went through a major hurricane, gee maybe she was distracted.

To the OP, for me personally I would book SSR and not even worry about the others. It is a great resort with a really fun pool.

What does the hurricane have to do with anything?????? I was expressing my surprise that she would be surprised that those resorts were booked. As for the storm damage I sympathize with them. It shouldn't be surprising that DVC Resorts are tough to get 5 months out over a major holiday.

As of January 9, the USS Alabama is reopened! I think the park hours are altered a little due to the fact that repairs are still being done, but they are definitely back in business!
