OMG...my first experience with 'Road Rage'

Right on red is allowed here. There were several cars in front of him but there was also a big enough space for my smallish car to slide out between the last car that was in front of him and the blue pick up.

So technically I suppose I was in the right, but IANA police officer, so I'm not entirely certain of that.

I emailed the police this afternoon as soon as I got home, asking their advice (I was too chicken to go to the police dept..police scare me! :scared: ). So now I'm waiting on a response. I'm curious to see what they say about it.

Actually, a car operating under a green light has the right of way. The complete and total right of way. A space small enough for you to cut into while making a right turn on red is not enough. "Sliding in", isn't mentioned in the right turn on red rules of the road. In order for you to turn on red there should be no car coming that would be required to slow down or brake for you in order to avoid an accident.

For what it's worth.....I see a LOT of folks around here that are confused about right turn on red.
