DH and I went to see Jeff Dunham last night in Mankato (MN)..

O...M....G.....funniest...... show....... EVER!!!

Guitar Guy got things started with a 20 minute "preshow" and he was so freaking hilarious. Then he went off and there was a short intermission and then Jeff came out and it was ON!...

I have never laughed so hard and so much in my life and looking at Jeff for 2 1/2 hours didn't hurt either! :lovestruc lol

Great seats, great show!!!

My Ds11 wanted to see him for his bday - so we got him tickets and went this past AUG --it was great.. he is as good live... Guitar guy is good too!

I was amazed at how many Pre-teens were at the show..

Thanks to Jeff, we can't see a Prius with out the 12 and 15 year olds saying Sparkly!

I kill you! is often thrown around too by them.

My son now likes to call our friends named "JEFF"... "jeff-fafa..."

They don't know any Jeff's, but I am sure my two would do this as well.

Any time I have to give out our e-mail address, you'll hear them do the .com ala Peanut style. Head thrown back and all.

I tried...I really did. I tried to like him. Everyone else seems to. I just don't think he's funny at all. I hardly consider myself the type to get up on a soapbox about this...but I think he's extremely in poor taste/hovering around the racist line.

YMMV.

We love Jeff too. Perhaps I should have limited how much my boys could watch of him though. (We've seen him live, but they have only seen his DVDs). We went to a Mexican restaurant a few years ago, and when the waiter came to our table to greet us with a "good evening", our son who was 5 at the time, replied with "good evening infidel."

:rolleyes1Totally wanted to crawl under the table.

:rotfl2::rotfl2: That's great!

I love him! Its a great show and the guitar guy is hysterical also!!!

Guitar Guy is hot!

I still haven't seen Jeff and co. live, but I practically memorized the Christmas special.

I would love to see him in person. Love his "Arguing With Myself" and "Spark of Insanity" DVD's. Walter, Peanut, Achmed, the whole gang. Absolutely great!!!

Didn't care at all for his weekly show though. DH and I both thought it was more stupid than funny. I don't think it lasted very long.

On the same order as Jeff, has anyone seen Terry Fator? He has his own show now in Vegas, with his puppets. All his puppets sing, in different voices. We just love him!! DS thinks he's just a Jeff Dunham wannabe, but I think they have two very different styles and there is room in the entertainment world for both of them. :)

I can't wait!!! We have front row seats to his Charleston, WV show.

You will have a blast!!! Be prepared to laugh long and laugh hard! Don't get to dismayed if they do a 15 minute intermission after Guitar Guy...we were like what the heck, but when Jeff comes out he gives almost 2 full hours of nonstop fun!

Guitar Guy does an act all by him self...he is the "opening act" lol...And he is just as funny as Jeff. Then he comes back in for parts with Achmed and Peanut where Jeff tries whatever he can to get Guitar Guy to laugh...so much fun!!!!

I loved the story that he told about his son making millions in the band Avenged Sevenfold and how he was making squat playing with Dunham~

I've been a fan of Jeff's since probably about 1989/90 or so. I'm pretty certain we booked him into our campus pub for a Comedy Night, back when I was in college working on the entertainment board. He used to play a lot of the So Cal comedy clubs back then. Great guy and very, very funny. So happy to see him enjoying so much success!

This is DW's and I favorite comedian. We own his dvd's and we saw him last year when he came to our city. We had front row seats. My stomach hurt for days from laughing so hard. He's coming back out to our city in June. I won free tickets from one of our local radio stations. :dance3: Can't wait to see him again.

Love, love, love Jeff! Bought my mom and DD13 each an Achmed doll for Christmas last year. We had a lot of fun with those things. DD mentioned she'd like to bring him to Disney. I told her I didn't think the TSA would see the humor in her choice of dolls.
