So I've shown everyone here the engagement ring I picked out last week, which I thought was beautiful.
Last night, my DH2B said he didn't want me to "settle", and bought me my DREAM ring (a princess cut on the trellis setting)!! I am so excited, I'm just bursting!!
Here it is ---
I know it's silly to be so excited over something so materialistic....but, I just can't help it!

You are very lucky
I've had my eye on the Tiffany Lucida engagement ring (very similar to the pics above) ever since we started talking about marriage, which has been at least a couple of years now. When it came time to shop for a ring, I just couldn't justify the cost just to have the Tiffany name. So I looked and looked, and saw the aquamarine ring and really liked how unique and delicate it was. But my DH2B knew it wasn't what I really wanted, and he was able to find a ring VERY similar to the Lucida and got it for me! Which just makes the ring all the more special to me.
for that vintage tacori style!! But all in all CONGRATS!!
I told my dh that I would really like something Not Yellow gold, no less than 1/2 carat, and Princess cut. He went above and beyond with this gorgeous ring, getting it in white gold with a 2 carat diamond! I agree with you about it not being a "typical" solitare. It's very unique looking to me. CONGRATS!!!
