I remember when I first started looking at vacationing in Cancun way back in January I had 90 days to go. I've been pretty busy with work and other things and just realized that I have under 14 days left until I leave for my trip :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I guess time has been flying by faster than I thought.

Does anyone else have a vacation comming up that looked so far away not to long ago and is now suddenly closer than you realized?

Have a great trip!

This is one of the perks of that great bonus, right?

We leave for Ireland in two weeks as well, and it has snuck up on me! Luckily I have had things all planned for a while. I'm the kind of girls who buys every guidebook like 4 months out, so I think I got bored with planning way back in January.

However, when I realized how close it was this past week, I have had a renewed energy in planning. I need to get all of the directions/routes. I'm still not sure what to do about restaurants. With Disney, I'm so used to planning that part out, but I think this trip will be a bit more on the fly!

Have a great time in Cancun, you'll come back with a nice tan. I'm pretty sure that it's going to rain while were in Ireland, but that's ok. I spend too much time in the sun as it is.

HayGan,

Actually I used all of that to pay down some of my morgage, and used my tax return for this trip. This way I was able to take care of lowering how much I owed on my morgage and take the trip as well.

bekkiz,

Enjoy your trip as well. Spending 7 days on the beach with no worries or responsibilities is going to do wonders for me.

poohandwendy,

I'm sure I would hate me to if I was in someone elses shoes :). Trust me I have been there. Other than my short Vegas trip in Jan and my short WDW trip last Feb, this is my first real vacation in a long long time and boy do I need it.

HayGan,

Once I decided to pay off some of the morgage, I didn't think this would work out in the end until I saw how much I was getting back on my tax return. I figure since I had already paid off a nice chunk of the morgage, that I deserved a little treat for myself.

bekkiz,

Other than picking up some t-shirts, shorts, ect I really haven't done much preperation for this trip. I probably wont start setting stuff out until next Sunday and won't start packing until a couple days prior to me leaving.

This will be my first trip out of the country so this should be interesting. Atleast I finally get to use my passport.

In that case, I won't hold it against you forever, I promise ;)
