We've been so busy at work for the past two weeks between projects for the department and seven to ten runs a day. I haven't had a full nights sleep at work and I felt it coming on yesterday. I now have it full blown, I was going to try and make it today but just checked, fever is 102
and I can't get warm.
Called my battalion chief to take my sick day and he told me I was the third guy to call in he told me take as much time as I need.
He's a top notch boss. I'm going back to bed now.
Good night.

Good night.
, and only this morning is it starting to let up. My fever broke last night with TONS of sweating, and this morning is the first morning in several days I woke up NOT feeling like I'd been run over.

Please take care of yourself. Hope you're back on your feet soon, but if not, take the time needed to heal!
Today he left for his 3rd weeklong trip in the past 3 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes home with a little germy something for Valentines Day. yuck.
