OMG I am so excited!!

I just called Member Services to book our trip for November. It is exactly 7 months from today!!! Well to my surprise I got the room size, resort and dates that I wanted on my first try. It seems that every year I have to waitlist. Now I don't know what to do with myself. I am so excited!!

So now we are booked for Nov 14 - 21 in a 2br at OKW. The guy even asked if we wanted a room close to the Hospitality House. So I figured what the heck I would have him put that in there. Everytime I ask for it...I swear I am in the farthest room from there.

Ok thanks for listening...just had to share my excitement!!!

Is it really that difficult to get a 2 bdr at OKW the week before the week of Thanksgiving?? Wow, is there ever a time when the DVC resorts aren't crowded??

We will most likely be doing MVMCP, but since DD is 16 this year we are thinking about doing the Keys to the Kingdom Tour.

We usually go the week after Thanksgiving, so I wasn't too sure on what we would get. It seems everytime we book at the 7 month mark we have to waitlist no matter what time we go.

Thanks...I was really nervous waiting til the 7 months out...I didn't even book at my home resort and wait it out this year...just waited till today and went for it. So glad that I did!!!

Good for you! I'm glad to hear that you can sometimes get what you want at 7 mos out. I'll be trying that next February. I love planning in advance.
