Great! You mean that now I don't have to wait to be in the park for my family members to mess up my plans. They can start doing it 60 days out???

I usually give very strict advice to those travelling with me:

1. Let me do all the planning.

2. Once we get there, follow the plan.

maybe I missed something... you linked everyone together and you scheduled everyone's FP+. did you have a conversation with everyone about what you had planned on doing and what the plans were concerning daily programming? I understand the you (OP) are experienced and can do this in your sleep, but it is her trip as well. maybe she was trying to quietly trying to show you how it feels to have your plans scheduled by someone else. no, she shouldn't have changed your times, but did you have permission to even schedule hers in the first place? IJS...

She didn't schedule anything for SIL. SIL went on MDE and scheduled her stuff and changed OP's selections without asking.

OP - I know it's a pain but check the night before and morning before you go.ton the park. Heck I'd prolly check a few hundred times a day. But have read posts where attractions weren't available weeks in advance and then magically some appeared closer to that date. Sorry you have to deal with that...I'd be fuming too!

Anyway, we are a family of 6 traveling with our 4 little kids in May. MIL, FIL, SIL, and SIL's BF decided they would like to come with us. So, I put everyone in MDE and linked our accounts, etc. Then, I sat down with my little spread sheet (OCD, much?) and planned my FP+ around our meal times, nap times, estimated meltdown times, parade times, fireworks times, etc. I did it right at 60 days out. I was so pleased with my plan I could burst!

The inlaws invited themselves on OPs trip.

I'd be really upset that someone messed up the planning I did for my family's benefit.

I hope you can gradually get this resolved as other people cancel their FP+ and ADR.

OP, keep checking for openings for your Mickey and Princess meet and greets. People change their FPs all the time, and you might get lucky if someone else cancels.

Well this is why I no longer travel with extended family/friends/groups, regardless of FP+, Magic bands or anything else. Too many moving parts create an absolute disaster for a vacation. This especially happens with families where you have young/medium/old people all mixed together who require naps or have health issues.

Seriously. Unless you all have separate cars and agree that you are all FREE to go SEPARATE ways you will probably have a crappy, stressful, expensive vacation.
Never. Doing. It. Again. Period.
I tried twice to involve mom/sister/friends/etc. (once to Italy and once to Orlando). Never again. Never. Vacation time is far too precious to me.

When I was planning our trip, it the site asked about friends and family. I added everyone BUT I made each person except myself a new email address, similar to abclovesepcot@?????????.com. They are listed so that I could order customized MBs and schedule FP+ but no one can sign onto the account because they don't have the information. We did discuss what everyone wanted to do and I booked as much as possible to please each person. We each had to compromise at one point or another. Once it was done though, no one but me can change it. I kind of envisioned a scenario like what happened to to the OP and wanted to avoid that.
