David Copperfield was in town today. He's doing some shows in Dallas this weekend and DH and I went for Valentine's Day. After the show, we noticed a small number of people gathered around the back stage door. I figured they must be waiting to see if David is going to come out. I kinda doubted he would because he had a nine o'clock show coming up and he usually doesn't come out to meet fans when he has another show coming up. But as it turned out, one of his stage hands had family in the dallas area and she had brought them back to that area to meet him and there were a couple of people that participated on stage with him back there waiting for autographs. So we kinda just happened to be at the right place at the right time. There were no more than 10 people there. So he comes out and I realize I have a camera phone and I give it to DH and tell him to take a pic of me and David Copperfield. So he gets over to shake our hands, and surprisingly my voice actually worked well enough to ask him if it was okay if he would take a picture with me. He said, "Sure!" So:
There we are
The thing is, I've been in love with David Copperfield for as long as I can remember. I use to want to be one of his assistants when I grew up...I'd still like to know how to get that job???
P.S. I know the qaulity is REALLY bad, but remember, this is a camera phone. You're not suppose to bring cameras because there's no still or video photography allowed. Says so right there in really big letters on the tickets.
