So excited to be coming back to DisneyLand after 20 yrs... (we go to WDW) yearly... but this is a "bucket-list" trip... We fly into LAX and were wondering best shuttle service. We are staying at Grand Californian Resort and then flying out of Orange County Airport. Any suggestions appreciated.

I can't believe it's almost here- we've been planning this for over a year (also staying at Aulani on Oahu, just prior to our stop in California party:

Celebrating DH 61st BD at DL and in memory of our DD :lovestruc who loved Disney so much. Anything special that we shouldn't miss. We have 3 days at DL

http://shuttletolax.com/...this is advertised all over LA and is basically $20 a pop for the first person and $12 for each additional person....

the only thing about them is that I will use them going to the airport but not for coming from LAX to the hotel...

www.supershuttle.com has a good price even cheaper than that if you use the code UYR59...ive checked others but this is probably the cheapest one from LAX to anaheim:thumbsup2

Wow sounds like a great trip!! We just got back from Aulani and loved it!!

You may also want to check out Disneylands transportation page:

It lays out all your options.

When we don't rent a car we always like to take a taxi just because it's so much easier and quick, no waiting around for shuttles to show up, and no stops at other hotels along the way. You may also want to check out the Disneyland Express shuttle run through Grayline a little bit more money but not a lot of extra drop offs.

wooohooo! Just wanted to drop in to say I'm so excited for you! This sounds like it's gonna be a phenomenal trip!!! Enjoy!!

My wife and I have used super shuttle in the past. This will be the first time for us that we use them from LAX so I cant speak to LAX specifically. Some families choose to use the Disneyland Express bus (not free like at DW).

For us personally, we'll stick with Super Shuttle. There are just fewer people on the van so fewer stops...

Have an amazing trip!!!:cool1:

So far, I like Karmel Shuttle the best. They don't troll the airport for more riders like SuperShuttle does, and in my experience their drivers are a bit safer on the roads than SuperShuttle drivers are.

Totally agree! I will use nothing but Karmel Shuttle. They are a reservation only service that does not loop the airport looking for more pick-ups which only adds more time to you getting to where you want to go... your hotel and DL!!!!

The difference to me:

Other Shuttles - Get bags, buy ticket at shuttle, get on, sit......... sit.......... ok time to go loop the airport, ok more pick-ups (which means more time added onto more stops along the way or longer stops at fewer destinations, either way, long and more are the key words.

Karmel Shuttle - Buy reservation (ticket) online even before getting on your flight to go to LAX. Get bags, or better yet just carry ons lol, get on Shuttle, sit, off you go to your hotel with maybe a stop or 2 (big maybe) for the other few people who did the same as you and arrived at the same time too (they don't sit around for other flights to arrive).

Just my experience and opinion :)

Karmel Shuttle for me :thumbsup2

Have an awesome time!! :cool1:

Roughly how much does a taxi cost from LAX to Disneyland?
