Omg!! Found a BIG surprise in my inventory!!

Last night I was playing Phinnys Make a Deal game. Phinny puts two items across from three ice blocks, players sit on the blocks and when she says GO..the players run to the item that is more expensive. The first player to the correct item wins.
Now, Phinny sees me playing these games ALL the time (used to play a few times a night, before the calendar when it was easy to get in), Gift Bag, Doorway to Fortunes, Treasure Bag..whatever they are calling it at the moment. lol It's the one that you can win inferno.
So I played Make a Deal and I won my round. Now when you win, you have the option of keeping the item you ran to, or making a deal of trading it in for a different random prize. The person before me that won, traded in his item and gets inferno. The room is yaying and congratulating!!
So I win an orbitor thingy and Phinny asks DizneyKate you want to keep that right?! (she was kidding!) I said no!.I want to trade it in and said that I want what I have been trying to get in these games for so long now, lol.
Prize time comes..Phinny says "DisneyKate gets..a watercooler!"
I said "oh" ..I thanked her, said I can add it to my collection. Thanked her for the game and left through the teleporter to the ByeBye room. I sat in the bye bye room, kind of stunned. I checked my inventory and there was my watercooler. Yay! I even checked my pins to see if anything new was there, nope. Then the person from the next round came in and said the boy who won his round got inferno too. Now I'm really sad, the person before me and after me each won inferno. Oh well!

A little while ago today, I was trading extra pins from my main account to my 2nd account. And I see..what's that?? OMG..is that what I think it is?? It is...it's Inferno!! I started shaking, lol!! Seriously, could not believe it! I have no idea when Phinny added it, but there it is!

Nice trick there, Fin!!

That's awesome!!! I was playing last night too and won also. The player before me won Inferno...so when I won I said no to the hippo pool and yes to the mystery prize....she said are you sure?? I said yes....well then I got disconnected!!! Nothing new in my inventory either. I was pretty sad after waiting so long to get in....finally winning something...and then getting disconnected.

This is something I really like to hear!

I am happy for you! I can imagine what that must be like to see inferno there in your inventory!

After waiting an hour and a half in line, the game was closed last night lol. However, I still haven't given up hope for recieving my inferno! (I am optimistic it will happen lol and stories like these reignite that hope lol)

Staff members must feel just awful closing games like that up and then hearing people say they waited so long. I know they can only do so much and I know my heart would be broken. I empathize with them on such events

However, the plot thickens!! I went into Phinnys game tonight to thank her. I said "Phinny, I found the nice surprise today! " She asked "what surprise?" more than once. I said "I have a great pin from after the game last night". She asked "I gave you a pin?"
Tonights game was being played, and I was first to spin..so first to go. Couldn't talk much.
I got back in queue, waited, and was back in the room. I asked "You did not give it to me?, I did not have it after the game last night, but found it today."
She told me to just enjoy it.

If Phinny didn't give it to me, maybe the VMK higher-ups heard my plea during the Deal game??

I dunno, this is weird!

Just please...don't take my pin away!

Great story, thanks for sharing it with us! The day (then) VMK_Annie gave me inferno on the Central Plaza street corner, I dc just as she said, "Here, Coriander" Oh the weeping and wailing that went on at my house.

My fingers were acually shaking as I logged back in to see if I could track her down

I could not find her anywhere, then thought to look at my inventory. There it was, woot!

Wow! The same thing happened to me, except I didn't win inferno. LOL!

I saw the players in every other game win it, and one of them was KrazyLuke!
Woot! I knew then I wouldn't win it right after he won it.

But I was thrilled that I had the OPPORTUNITY for the first time since the
game began to try to win the prize. To me, that's almost as good as winning.
I'll keep trying to win it, and I'm always happy to see lots of first time winners!

All I need is that and the Yeti paw print pins to complete my collection, and
I'll be a happy camper.

This gives me a smattering, a glimmer, a dollop of...hope.
