OMG Booking today!!!

The day has arrived. I can finally book for August 2010!!! GOing to stick with a package with Virgin. 4 nights Portofino Bay and 15 nights Grand Floridian. I have just tried to do it online so I have a price in my head when Virgin phone me tonight but I can't seem to book the Universal hotel! Does anybody know if they have not yet released their dates?

I don't think you can book Universal hotels up this far in advance yet.

if you are booking your universal hotel through virgin then yes they are booking through to 31st Dec 2010 - great help to me as I want to arrive at Hard Rock on 1st Jan 2011!! (Jan 2011 hotels don't become available until November!!)

Do you know why they won't let me do it on the internet?

I also notice that although they are doing free dining there aren't many other early bird offers such as free child price or free upgrade on your car when you stay at a Disney or Universal 5V. Can't complain - getting Free Dining!!

You lucky thing going for nearly 4 weeks! I thought we were extrvagant with 3! And over Christmas - Fantastic!!

Hi again! Not sure why its not showing on the internet, I tried to get a fly/drive price on the internet but that will only go up to 31/12/10, even though they were able to give me a price up until 7/1/11 on the phone! I wonder whether they just haven't updated the website fully yet??

This is a one off xmas trip (we'll never be able to get time off work at that time of year again) - so we are going to do EVERYTHING 'christmassy' possible in one go!!
