I am hoping to plan a trip to WDW for December. We could fly out of Omaha or Kansas City. What have your air fares been from these locations?
TIA

We are the same way. But prefer to fly out of Omaha as it is closer. But I always find better fares out of KC. In fact we just booked our flights for the end of May out of KC. It was $202. But in the past I've gotten fares for around $150. Good luck!!

ITA software is the perfect site if you want to compare airfares from or to multiple airports.

In the "From" or "To" box, you can enter several airport codes separated by a semicolon. For instance, if you wanted to see if flying into Tampa would save you money, you'd put "MCO; TPA" in the "To" box. You could even put in multiple airports in both the From and To fields and see all the possible combinations. It's got a really nice display that lets you look at flights in several different ways.

We're flying from MCI to MCO on 2/13 and from MCO to MCI on 2/19 and paid $254 total per ticket on Midwest Airlines. I could have gotten Southwest for about $9 less per ticket but to me it was worth the extra money for the "upgrade" to Midwest. Both Southwest and Midwest have nonstop flights both ways between MCI and MCO.

The other interesting thing: We're flying back on the Sunday before President's Day. If we had flown back the Friday before (2/17) or the Tuesday after (2/21), our round-trip cost would have dropped to about $179 -- around $75 per ticket savings. With six tickets needed for my household, it was awfully tempting to save the $450 and spend it on an extended Disney stay but we decided we couldn't keep our DS's out of school any more days (and we certainly couldn't cut our Disney trip short!).

17 days to go (but who's counting?)...

I paid $59 each way MCI-MCO on SWA last sept! Gotta love SWA!!! They are running a weekend special right now for $69 each way if you're traveling feb 3 - march 8.

I just bought tickets on Delta for our July trip. The total was $394 for two tickets including all taxes and fees. these are also direct flights.

Midwest Express also has flights available right now. The cost would have been $411 for two. Although I would have preferred to fly MWE, the Delta times were better.

Last summer Southwest had $104 each way.
