olympus tough camera- screen problem

Hi I owned olymus stylus Tough camera for a few years , it is going well until two months ago when i lost my power cable and i stopped charging.
I went to amazon.ca and bought cable compatible for any olympus camera.

I got the cable last week and charged it over night. Now i see the on/off camera light is Always on (even if i tried to press power button and turn it off) , however now the screen is blank. no matter what buttons i press, its still blank

any idea??

I surely did not drop camera or anything like that
