Olympus Stylus 790?

I have been looking at this camera for a while, but I'm still having trouble deciding whether or not to buy it. It looks great (a bit thick but still nice) and I love that it can go underwater but I wanted to hear what you pros have to say.

Right now I have the Casio EX-S600 which is great but I think it's time for a change.


If any of you have pictures taken on the camera (that is if any of you have it) I would love to see them.

I used it for my recent trip, in fact I used it too much,

I really liked having it to use while snorkling but I ended up using it out of the water also.

I don't think the quality of the pics is all that great but I loved having a camera that could go in the water and that I could drop (which I did) and it still kept going.

I took about 700 pictures with it,

I bought it right before the trip, I found myself using it more than any of my other cameras, just because it was so small(compared to my cameras) and it was orange(loved having an orange camera) LOL

Thanks! I've been away from my computer for a few days so this was a great surprise to come back to! Thank you so much!

Sadly, I've decided I'm going to hold off on getting a new camera until the end of may. We're taking a trip down at the beginning of June so I'm thinking something new may come out during those 6 months.
