Have reservations at Olivia's on Mother's Day. Never been there - or even at OKW. Any suggestions as to what to see, do, eat? How are their grits? TIA

Favorite thing at Olivia's is the fried chicken. Hands down.

In terms of what to see? It is a really great resort to drive around in, but outside of the main lobby area, you just are going to see golf courses and rooms. Some great photo ops on the bridge by the main building.

It is a very quiet resort. There is a great boat ride you can do to Disney Springs right outside of Olivia's. Maybe you could head over their after dinner?

I've been to Olivia's several times over the years and have never had a bad experience. Enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Service has always been fine.

We love Olivia's!! The conch fritters are great! DS had the shrimp & grits- very good! I had scallops I believe. Servers there are excellent! Nice laid back atmosphere!

Super solid. We always eat there when we stay at OKW. Very enjoyable, family like atmosphere (the one room we always seem to sit in is filled with photos of "original" vacation club members).

Old key west is huge, but rather than drive around the resort it's really nice to walk around. You don't have to see the entire thing, as it gets repetitive, but it's really nice to walk rather than drive it.

If you have a lot of time to spare, you can also take a boat from the dock there to Disney Springs, which is enjoyable.

Truer words were never spoken! Once only an intermittent special, it’s finally on the menu! Their pork chop is very good, quite huge, juicy, and grilled to perfection. For more casual fair, they also make a really good burger served with home made chips. Appetizers, the conch fritters are awesome and don’t forget the key lime pie, or better yet the bread pudding for dessert. YES, I eat there often!

Really lovely to see at night! You can also grab a drink at the Guirgling Suitcase before or after dinner and sit by the pool. Their signature drink, the Turtle Krawl is very tasty!

I already have a breakfast reservation booked before our flight back home but all this talk about the fried chicken is making my mouth water. I may have to add a lunch / dinner there too.

Has anyone had the banana bread French toast? Is it as good as it sounds?
